My work with teacher education

So today has been a trying day. I came back from a great conference where I was able to co-present a paper with a colleague. We are interested in Teacher Education - specifically the program that we have at our University. We are studying why and how faculty divert themselves when difficult discussions about race, equity and power come up. We see these diversions often take the form of focusing on student behaviors - especially student dress.
So I had a great time at the conference and was able to attend some good sessions as well as receive good feedback on mine. plus I got to present with a colleague of mine who is amazing person, teacher and scholar.
So whats got me down... ONCOURSE. I lost 45 minutes tonight while Oncourse sat there and spun its wheels!!!!

Back in the saddle again

It has been a while but now I am back. This semester has gotten off to a good start. I am teaching 2 sections of W200 (Computers in Education) and my students are also working on their blogs. I want to add more to mine so that I can share it with them and not be embarrassed!
I added my picture to my profile and some more information. I will also try and keep this updated with the trials and tribulations of writing papers and working on projects!
